You've tracked the ads. You've saved the winners. Now you're staring at a blank doc, trying to remember why that one hook from three weeks ago felt so promising.

Here's a simple workflow from tracked ads to a filled creative brief, with a template you can copy and a Claude workflow to speed it up.

To run this workflow, you need a Swipekit account connected to Claude. If you haven't done this yet, follow the Swipekit MCP setup guide.

The Complete Workflow

Step 1: Pull the ads

Open your Swipekit account. Pick 3 to 5 ads that share a pattern: same hook style, same offer type, same format. Add them all in a temp board.

Then copy the public url of the swipekit board.

Step 2: Paste this template into Claude.

You are a creative strategist. I'm giving you source ads from competitors.
Turn them into a filled creative brief for my brand.

Understand my product and audience from my website:
<website-url>

And here are my competitor's ads:
<link to swipekit board>

Output the brief in this exact structure:

**1. The Pattern**
What hook style, offer, or format repeats across these ads?

**2. Our Angle**
One sentence: how we'll approach this differently or better.

**3. Hook Options (3)**
Write three opening lines in our voice, inspired by the pattern, not copied.

**4. Format & Structure**
What the ad should look like (UGC, static, demo, etc.) and the beat-by-beat flow.

**5. Claims to Verify**
List every factual, comparative, or performance claim implied here that
our team must confirm before production. Flag anything we cannot legally say.

**6. Source Ads**
The links I provided, for reference.

Step 3: Fill the remaining gaps

This is just the draft, you're job is to go throught the research Claude pulls up and engage with it.

Conclusion

Blindly copying what's working gets you a mediocre version of someone else's ad. Use your saved competitor ads as a starting point and do your own research. Lastly, Claude/ChatGPT can read Swipekit's public board and ad links perfectly fine.
