Before you get started, make sure you've created a Swipekit account and connected the MCP to your chat app.

Step 1. Get the post or Reel URL

Open the Instagram post or Reel you want to save and use its share option to copy the link. Copy the direct post or Reel link, not a profile link. If you found an Instagram placement in the Meta Ad Library, use its Ad Library link and follow the Facebook Ad Library guide.

Step 2. Open your chat app and run a prompt

Open Claude or ChatGPT, paste the link, and ask it to save the post or Reel to your Swipekit account:
